- Goldberg made a special appearance at the "Legends of Wrestling" night at the Miami Marlins game spearing one of the Colorado Rockies "fans". It is said that he was in great shape and in great spirits about a possible return to the ring. He was later interviewed and had this to say...
- He shot down the Wrestlemania XXX rumors but went to say "that doesn't mean it won't happen, it just means a deal hasn't been reached yet." He was also asked if WWE would be the place he would want to return in which he immediately said "Yes, no question" and he asked about possible opponents to which he replied, "I would really like to get into the ring with The Undertaker, that would really be some history right there, I really have no interest in Ryback." WWE is rumored to be releasing a best of Goldberg DVD in the near future and are looking to sign Goldberg if not a performers contract at least to a legend's contract.
- Bret Hart was also at the game and was interviewed after Goldberg... he was asked if there was still maybe a "grudge" between them since Goldberg allegedly ending Bret's career back in December of 1999. Bret responded...
"You know I still hate it happened, but it's one of those things were you can only be angry at for so long. I've spent year's and year's of my life being angry and bitter and just not wanting anything to do with certain people. Honestly, Goldberg is a very, very nice human being and is a very caring person. Some people still blame him for what happened to me later down the road but I don't, It was a freak accident what happened. I know I have said things I should not have and me and Bill are on the best of terms now."
- Even though WWE were recently told not to promote any upcoming appearances for The Rock until 2015... WWE is sincerely hoping something changes and is able to appear in the fall/winter of this year to help promote WWE 2K14 and possibly set a angle for a future match. Vince McMahon has appeared to be a little disappointed in The Rock but wants to do everything he can to make business arrangements work in the future.
